Unsung Hero
Congratulations to the first winner of the Norfolk Sports Club "Unsung Hero Award" Ken Lampert. He has volunteered as the cross country and track and field coach at Norfolk Academy for the last 30 years.
In that time his teams have won 30 TCIS Championships. He is also president of the Ward's Corner Lions Club. He won the award for all those championships but more importantly for his work in the community. Lampert himself was the MVP of Virginia Tech's 1976 track team.
