Hometown Homerun Derby

Imagine experiencing a homerun derby in your own backyard? That will be the case November 3rd when hometown products David Wright, B.J. and Justin Upton, Michael Cuddyer, Ryan Zimmerman and Mark Reynolds face off at 2pm over at Grassfield High School according to school officials. Money raised from the event will help funds for the school's new athletic program.
The six players have combined to hit nearly 115 homers this season in the majors. Wright leads the way with 30. There could be a slight schedule problem for two of the players. Justin Upton and Reynolds are rookies with the Diamondbacks who are currently playing the National Championship Series against the Colorado Rockies.
