Group AAA All-State Honors

One of the most potent running backs to grace the high school fields of Hampton Roads leads a group of five local players on the state Group AAA All State first team. Salem's Kevin Whaley made first team all-state for a second straight year thanks to 1,661 yards and 25 total touchdowns. The 5-11, 175 pound senior completed his outstanding career with 6,301 yards, the all-time regular season and single game points leader in South Hampton Roads

All-American Keeps It All In The Family

There must be something in the water over at Norfolk Academy. For the third straight year, the Bulldogs have an All-American player named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. That honor goes to forward, Jordan Cyrus.
