MANUEL NAMED PARADE ALL-AMERICAN
The honors continue to pour in for Bayside High quarterback, E.J. Manuel. He was one of seven quarterbacks named to this year's Parade All-American football team. The selection process is done by coaches, jounalists, scouts and recruiters.
The senior is expected to sign with Florida State on national signing day February 6th. He was a second-team Group AAA all-state selection, and joined Westfield High quarterback, Mike Glennon as the only Virginians on the team. Manuel is second all-time on the Soutside in passing yardage with 5,742 yards. In his senior year alone, he passed for 1,896 yards to go with 19 touchdowns in 11 games.
