WRESTLING RANKINGS
The Hampton Roads area is very well represented in the latest wrestling rankings for the state of Virginia. According to VirginiaWrestling.com, six schools from our area belong in the top 10. The site also ranks four wrestlers as the best in their weight class.
In the team rankings, Colonial Forge grabs the #1 position. Great Bridge comes in at #2, Cox at #4, Kellam at #7, Kempsville at #8 and Granby #10. Kellam's Mike Holcomb ranks best in the 125 lb class. Great Bridge has two athletes chosen as #1, that would be Louis Johnson (140) and Jared King (160). The website has First Colonial's Cory Bartolo as the best in the state in the 145 lb weight class.
