MCDONALD'S ALL AMERICAN
Norfolk Collegiate's She'la White is a groundbreaker. She becomes the first player from Hampton Roads ever named to play in the McDonald's All American girls basketball game.
You can go back in the HSGametime video files and find the story we did on White earlier this year. You would learn that she is a terrific point guard who is headed to the University of North Carolina next year.
White is closing in on 2,000 points in her high school career. This year she is averaging nearly 22 points a game. Her Oaks are 22-1 and won the regular season title in the TCIS.
White becomes the third player from Virginia to play in the girls All American game. The big event is March 26 at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.
