BETHEL FALLS IN TITLE GAME

Bethel High School was hoping to win their first state championship since the Allen Iverson era in 1993. They weren't able to pull it off. The Bruins lost to T.C. Williams in the championship game 70-57.

Bethel fell behind early and never made this one very close. They trailed 32-18 at halftime. In the third quarter they were down by as much at 18. Bill Weaver led the Bruins in scoring. They finish the season with a 30-2 record.
