Deep Creek Hoop Signees
Deep Creek boys basketball coach, Leroy Ricks planted the seeds when he built the Hornets program and it's now come to harvest. Two players, forwards Corey Law and Rakeem Davis have decided where they will spend their college years.
Law, a first-team all-state player, will play at High Point University in North Carolina while Davis will head to Averett. Law, who was the Southeastern Player and a first-team region selection averaged 20.7 points a game to go with 14 rebounds. He led the district in scoring the past two years. Davis was an honorable mention all-southeastern district selection. He averaged just under 10 points a game to go with 9 boards.
