Six Leaves Hampton
After 14 years, Hampton girls basketball coach, David Six has decided to move on. He leaves the Crabber program as not only among the best in the state, but the country. Six reportedly says he wants to pursue different challenges.
Six did plenty during that time; a record of 331-93, 7 Peninsula District titles, 9 district tournament titles, and more importantly 2 Group AAA state titles (2001 and 2007). He was also a 2-time state Coach of the Year. No word as to who will replace him, but whoever it is, they've got plenty of talent to work with. Seniors, Tiffany Davis and Alyssa Bennett are among those returning for the Crabbers.
