AA boys soccer state semifinals

It will be an all-Bay Rivers District matchup in Saturday's Group AA boys soccer final at Radford University as both Jamestown and Grafton won by 2-1 scores each to meet for a fourth time this season, this time it's for a state championship.

In the first semifinal, Jamestown got goals from Kramer Runager and Danny Franklin to propel the Eagles into the final, beating a previously undefeated Blacksburg squad who were defending state champions and aiming for a third crown in four years.
But not today as the Eagles move on to face a familiar opponent in Grafton. The Griffins were paced by Ray Cuevas and Joe Skaja socring to lead Grafton to a 2-1 win as well over Hidden Valley.
Jamestown (20-2) has beaten Grafton (17-5-2) three times this season including win in both Bay Rivers and Region 1 tournaments.
The final is set for 10am Saturday morning at Radford University's Cupp Stadium.
