Newsome has thrown for over 2,150 yards, rushed for 798 yards and accounted for 39 combined touchdowns in two seasons for the Bruins.
It's that kind of production Michigan coaches and fans can look forward to, since Newsome has committed to play for the Wolverines starting in 2009.
At 6-3 and 217 pounds, Newsome displays a combination of size, speed and power rarely showcased in a quarterback.
When he arrives in Chatham, Newsome will play on Hargrave's post-grad team, where players who have, for the most part, completed high school and are using Hargrave to preapre for the rigors of college football.
