Phoebus QB makes college choice

Back in March, Phoebus quarterback Tajh Boyd announced his decision to go to West Virginia. But now one month after changing his mind, Boyd has verbally committed to Tennessee.

Boyd announcing his decision an hour after his team's 77-0 demolishing of Denbigh in their regular season finale as the undefeated Phantoms are getting ready for the Division 5 playoff which kick off next Friday night.
Despite the uncertain status surrounding Vols coach Phillip Fulmer in the wake of a disappointing 3-5 going into Saturday's SEC matchup against South Carolina, Boyd is confident Fulmer's job is safe in Knoxville.
Boyd made a visit to the UT campus last week and came away very impressed with the football program and the school in general. Boyd also likes Tennessee's style of offense, compared to his dislike of West Virginia's style of offense which apparently was a reason for his switching his collegiate choice from the Mountaineers to the Vols.
