Lake Taylor running back commits to N.C. State

Boogie McCray was an offensive standout this season for Lake Taylor. Now he is set to make his mark on Saturday afternoons next fall.

On Monday, McCray made his college comittment to North Carolina State. The 6-foot-2, 205 pound running back/linebacker chose the Wolfpack over North Carolina and Old Dominion.
McCray was a force on the ground for the Eastern District champion Titans, rushing for 1,531 yards and 22 touchdowns and earned district player of the year honors as Lake Taylor finished 12-1 with its second straight district title capped by an undefeated regular season.
McCray played running back, linebacker and defensive back for the Titans, but the Wolfpack is reportedly recruiting him to play safety.
