I claimed 'em on the air in week 1. And I haven't stopped since. Mallard Creek deserves all the recognition we can give them at 10-0.

What an accomplishment for a 2nd year school. Marquise Williams shines every week, but this is not a one man team. Far from it.

Somehow in just two seasons, Coach Mike Palmieri has turned this into a rock solid program. He has athletes, but they also have direction.

Palmieri has experience in Florida, but his roots are in New York. Straight talker with a Penn State cap. Joe Paterno can only hope his Nittany Lions look as good against Ohio State as the Mavericks did against Hopewell.

Halloween night against West Charlotte has all kinds of possibilities as an HS Gametime game of the week candidate. We'll let you know on Wednesday night at 6.
