HOUSTON's HOOPS HEAT UP

Since the tip off of the basketball season, the hardwood action has really heated up in both boys and girls.

BOYS HOOPS
Strake Jesuit may be holding strong atop the 5A rankings, but the real excitement has come out of boys 4A. With teams like Jones, Wheatley and Yates, all ranked amoungst the top teams in the state in the same districts and dukin' it out on a day to day basis, it really makes for some great basketball.

Big Weekend for Football

Due to the fact that football has been reserved for two games Friday and four games Saturday, I've been covering a good amount of basketball. YES I definitely did enjoy the hot dogs at the Del Mar tournament, but nothing is better than some playoff football.
We have some GREAT games going on Saturday.
Hightower vs. Pearland
Katy vs. La Porte
Friendswood vs. Beaumont Central
