The Jackets had a chance for both their baseball and softball teams to make it to state, but only one team could pull it off. The Lady Yellow Jackets made it happen, sweeping Brazoswood in two games, 7-1 & 1-0, to send them to state.
Amber Anderson pitched both games and was amazing off the mound allowing only 1 run in game one, and shutting out B-Wood in the second game. Anderson pitched in all three of their games against Bellaire in

The baseball Regional Finals is here and Houston is well represented. West Side and Bellaire are the only teams remaining in the region 3 playoffs, and also come from the same district. District 20-5A had three teams remaining in the quarter finals; West Side faced former state champ Cy Fair, and Bellaire took on their heated rival Lamar.
