Woodlands vs. Westfield
The HSGameTime "Game of the Week" crew is heading to Pridgeon Stadium Friday for a first round of playoff repeat. Last year, The Woodlands and Westfield met in the first round, with The Woodlands as the underdogs and Westfield came out on top by a big margin.
That is not the case this year as Westfield enters this match up as the underdog this year, while The Woodlands remains state ranked.
The game starts at 7:30 p.m. with LIVE coverage heard on TSRN, and follow along with the Game of the Week game BLOG.
The Woodlands enters the game with a high octane offense led by quarterback Andy McCloud, and an 8-1 record.
Westfield is a very fast and talented team that has had some tough breaks this season but still has "big play" capability.
It should be a really good match up between two strong teams.
