Thanks to everyone for joining us here and on my website, Texasprepinsider.com. This has been a fun football season for myself and all of my writers. For the Houston area that is Jay Darneal, Ahmard Vital, John Hoffman and Brandon Williams. We will be doing plenty of stuff in the off-season including a 28-stop tour of the state with four stops here in Houston for our Junior Picture days.

North Shore fumbled on the next punt, giving up the ball on the 7 or so and Judson punched it in. Final score 28-7. North Shore did not play well and turned the ball over four times which Judson scored on each one.
At this point in the season you can't have a bad game, the teams are too good and will do damage to you and beat you. That is what happened here tonight, they were outplayed and made more mistakes. Good season by Nort

Sophomore Woods puts it in, funny note the Flag crew with the GIANT NOrth Shore flags had a lot of trouble running down the field and gave up before they got to the end zone, of course to the delight of all of us in the press box.
touchdown Judson, pass down the middle and no one got to him. 21-0 with 1:36 left in the third. Not a lead that can't be overcome but Shore's offense has not gotten passed the 44 all day long.

Shore did a Hightower with the now INfamous Punt Read formation, that is where the punter takes off with the ball if nothing is there they kick the ball.

Judson called time out, Shore has the ball with 3rd and 15 on the clock
23 yard pass the QB did a great job of floating the ball over the defenders. Folks we have an upset in the making. Judson is taking advantage of Shore's mistakes and playing some great defense.
Shore is getting the receivers open up McGinty is overthrowing them, several times now a receiver got behind the DB's but he overthrew them, the wind is whipping around and causing havoc.

aanother four man sacks by Shore, the defense has not been up to Shore's standards so far today but this makes the second four man sack of the day.
Judson starts off at their 9, not much going on in this game save the fumbled punt
touchdown Judson on a punt return, the NS player got hit fumbled, and the defender scooped it up and jugged into the end zone

Shore is at the 49 and got a first down on three plays, they did a lateral pass that was incomplete but rolled out of bounds so a four yard loss
Shore gets a short punt and starts at the 39, first play a 2 yard gain
Judson runs a single receiver set with three backs and a tight end, they have one back in a slot but he can run the ball but also slide out to a receiver spot if called for. opeining play a one yard loss, second play 5 yard gain
7 minutes left on the clock but neitehr team is on the field so it will be a late start. What to expect, lots and lots of running and a fast game. Both teams use quickness and speed rather than size and passing ability. Both run a heavy majority of the times. There is a hard wind going south today so look for less passing than usual. Good year for Dayton, they overcame adversity to get this far. They lost an all-state caliber QB and the team rallied around Charles Gregory and went on a 10 game winning streak. Tonight the dream ended for the Broncos and their fans. They have had a great season, they have played great and have nothing to hang their heads about.

Dayton has given up 58 points in their 10 game winning streak. Lake Travis has scored 49 points tonight which is more than the previous 7 teams combined, wow.
they are now running right at Dayton and they are helpless. Hands are on the hips for DAyton, the defense is winded, touchdown LT. It is now 49-13. Ford Smesny made a great play on a 40 yard run for LT to set up the play, he could have given up but he has too much fight in him to give up.

Dayton is starting to try to pass downfield too much, they know they need points and now they are outside their comfort zone. It would be one of the greatest comebacks in high school football history to pull this one out.
They took inside the 5 on a 42 yard play but inelegible man downfield, that type of game so far for Dayton.
Air card stopped working. LT scored again, passing the ball, blah blah blah, great catches, blah blah blah, Gardner is unreal, blah blah blah.
Scuffle broke out when Dayton player was tackled on LT's side and all of a sudden it got ugly. Some Dayton players started to leave the bench and the Dayton coaches did a great job of surging in front of them and collectively ordering them back. Then they went to the LT sidelines to retrieve
Dayton is not panicking and are just doing their own game plan. Nice job of keeping the boys under control. It is a three score game so if they can get something here and put it to a two score game then they are back in it.
DAyton is starting to get to Gardner and knock him down but he is still getting the passes off. TD to Bird from 15 out, he bulled his way for a touchdown from the five. This one is starting to be over, LT is not being stopped and now have a 3 td lead.
LT 407 yards of offense, Gilbert 26-30-1-347-2, Walla and Bird have 10 catches each. Dayton has 135 yards of offense.
Dayton will take it to the house and regroup.

These receivers are tough for LT and are giving the DAyton DB's fits. I have mentioned previously that a concern for Dayton is that they have not met a passing team like LT this year so this was going to be a tough game.
Ball is on Dayton's 49, three defenders got him on the run and two knocked him out of bounds. 2nd and 11 still misting here.
Things are settling down a bit with more time being taken off the clock. Another passing first down, they are now at the 26
ball on 43 as DAyton is trying to even this one up. They are getting their yards running on this drive. 100 yards of offense for DAyton in the first, 240 for LT.
Gardner ran for 14 yards. HMMM, if you project on out and multiple his first quarter production by 4 that is 800 yards of offense. My over/under on offense is 80 points, 800 yards, that was for both teams combined. I think the refs are going to lose about 10 pounds each from all the running up and down they will do in this one.
Lake Travis receivers are impressive. Gardner is 12 of 14, 207 yards of PASSING in the FIRST quarter. My gosh someone give the refs some oxygen, better yet rotate them so they don't collapse.
They fooled all of Dayton, they had one person to beat who got him out of bounds but behind the play clipping, make that player do pushups on the field for a silly foul behind the play.
First down LT on the 42
AJ Dugat with a pass, he had five yards, if not more, between him and the defender. He is one of our Texasprepinsider.com's top 20 juniors in the state. XP blocked.
DAyton is driving, trips right now as they run the ball for a three yard gain. Both teams have different flows on their offense, LT gets there and goes while Dayton likes to take their time. LT blitzed on the previous play and put Gregory on his back, let;s see if they do more of that.
Great run by Ronnie Powell, about 8 yard pass he puts a move on the defender and takes the ball to the 13
20 yard run, good call they had only 5 in the box and had the short passing lanes cutoff.
Dicus likes to roll the dice and they made some major yards on that play . TD Lake Travis to Bird, they are rolling up some serious yards 170 yards of total offense for LT with 4:53 in the 1st.
LT is going for it but on third and a foot they slanted the line to the left and DAyton's defenders ripped through to drop the back for a one yard loss. The defensive backs are very good tacklers for Dayton and one reason why their defense is so good.
From the chronicle, sitting next to me, LT has 127 yards of offense in the first 6:35 of the game
he crosses the milestone as just a junior, 4000 yards passing on the season. They are putting together a nice drive with short passing plays, they use their spread offense as a ball control formation with short passes to substitute for the runs. Both teams uses twins formations (two receivers each side) for their basic offense. Expect Gardner to bounce back from the INT, he does not rattle easily and he knows he made a mistake. I think Dayton will try to put more pressure on him, they got to him once and got close another time. First two plays for LT, 8 yard completion and 3 yard run.
