Walls Brazos, Bushland advance to 2A finals

In the opening semifinal match of the state tournament, Wallis Brazos survived a comeback attempt by Centerville 25-21, 29-27, 22-25, 19-25, 21-19 to earn a berth in Saturday's 2A state championship match.

Jennifer Brandt, who led Wallis Brazos with 25 kills, had the winning kill. They will face Bushland for the 2A state championship Saturday at 11 a.m.

Bushland is the defending champion and has been the top-ranked 2A team all season. They swept Pottsboro 25-23, 25-22, 25-16 in their semifinal.
