Getting Hyped!

I just got through listening to our interview with St. X Coach Mike Glaser (a portion is running on the news tonight, and the complete version will be on hsgametime.com). Now I am officially hyped for football season. So here are the top ten best things about high school football.

10. The Mascots.
9. The coaches. Hearing a coach yelling on the sidelines is like sweet music.
8. The proud parents. I can't to see my son play one day.
7. The fresh cut stadium grass on opening night. Why can't my lawn look like that?
6. The Cheerleaders doing high flying stunts.
5. The Marching Bands. Gotta love a great band, especially the drum section.
4 The crazy student sections. Painted faces, orginal signs, loud and proud.
3. The food. Greasy burger, hot fires, ice cream and more.
2. The big play! An 80-yard touchdown bomb, a punt return for score, anything that gets the crowd fired up.
1. The feel of the cool crisp air on a Friday night. Football weather!
