LSWA FOOTBALL RANKINGS: Sept. 11
There was no movement in classes 2A-5A this week at the top in the latest Louisiana Sports Writers Association polls. In 1A, Kentwood dropped a spot to No. 2 after losing 14-12 to Amite, which moved up in the receiving votes section of 3A.
Other than that, Independence fell four spots to No. 8 after 5A's Ehret drilled the Tigers 28-0. Independence's offense was anemic throughout the game, unable to move the ball at all.
