NATIONAL RANKINGS: Sept.10-16
In what has become a three-week trend, Louisiana continues to have only three teams rated in the MaxPreps.com national top 100 -- Bastrop, Curtis and Acadiana.
And in the USA Today top 25, Curtis remains the only team from the Pelican State. The Patriots are still No. 15 as they prepare to take on "Salmon." Well, at least that's how the lovely people at Gannett's national hotel newspaper of choice spell Salmen. Disrespecting Friend of the Blog Chris Finch's high school will get you nowhere, USA Today.
