We're not getting rid of football just yet here on the blog. Got some housecleaning - or, in this case, notebook cleaning - to do.

First, congratulations to Professor for having the best overall pick 'em percentage. Throughout the season, he showed his knowledge of Louisiana high school football. He finished the year at 78.8%, going 67-18 and 5-0 for the finals.
SuperWebGirl might have come on late, but she earned respect, as well. She went 5-0 in the finals, beating our own PrepGuru. She was 75.1% overall, going 49-16.
I finished 97-38 for a 71.2% rate. I did go 5-0 in the finals. I'll take that.
Others:
Prep Guru: 69-25 (73.4%)
Ron Held: 69-26 (72.6%)
J.A. Borne: 41-24 (63.1%)
Mr. Held Over: 36-29 (55.4%)
SoccerFreak: 31-19 (62%)
OK, now to why you actually clicked on the link. MaxPreps posted its final state poll of the season. Not surprisingly, they have Destrehan first. But the surprise to me is that East St. John, despite finishing 6-5 and losing in the first round, is a top 15 team. I think it's deserving, but it's also a little unfair to some of the teams behind it.

What I find interesting is that O. Perry Walker isn't even in the top 25 on the list. Really? It made it to the semis in 4A and almost beat Shaw, this site's No. 6 team. I don't think I agree with that.
What are your toughts? Is the top 15 fair here? Is it misrepresentative of how it should actually be?
