Remember MTV's Two-A-Days? Remember Hoover's head coach Rush Propst? He's on the move.
Also, the LHSAA has released its soccer brackets. It's a banner time for local schools, I'll say that.
And who says weather can't have an effect on indoor games?

Those in the New Orleans area might recognize the name Hoover and Rush Propst from a couple of years ago when John Curtis Christian went to Birmingham and beat the Bucs in a TV contest. Propst hasn't been on anyone's good side in the state of Alabama lately, and, after agreeing to resign at the end of this year, has taken a new job in Georgia, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The LHSAA released the girl's soccer bracket yesterday. Today, it's all about the boys. And lots of them hail from the greater New Orleans metropolitan area. Among them are Hahnville and St. Paul's, who will play each other; Brother Martin and Bonnabel, who will play each other; Mandeville and Jesuit, who will play each other; and Lutheran and Newman, who will play each other.
And in Shreveport, last night's bad weather played havoc with a basketball game. The wind and rain knocked out power in Haughton. Strangely, it helped the visiting team more than the home team.
