Class 4A Boys Final: Monroe leads Cox to 4A state title
Cox defeated O Perry Walker 75-51 as Greg Monroe finishes his high school career with a 27-point perfomance.
End 3rd Quarter
Greg Monroe had 14 third-quarter points as the Cougars extended a two-point halftime lead.
Halftime
Cox came back in the second to take a 2-point lead into halftime.
Not much to say in this one, other than it appears that neither team is nervous. On the other hand, it doesn't appear either team is ready to take over.
Not sure what it is. Maybe it's just familiarity with each other.
End 1st
O Perry Walker has come out with energy, I'll tell you that. And so has Greg Monroe. This could be a good one.
The Cougars jumped out to a quick lead, but the Chargers stuck with their game plan and it has paid off. Monroe is getting beat down inside, and is earning everything he gets.
