If you weren't there to see Greg Monroe's dominating fourth quarter performance in Monday's 62-59 semifinal win over Carroll, then you're in luck. Not only can you read hsgametime.com's story about the game, but Lafayette had it covered.

it also had good coverage of the other contests.

Monroe finished with 19 points and and 10 boards, but he put up 12 of those points in a fourth quarter rally that saw the Cougars bounce back from 17 down late in the third quarter. The folks at the Lafayette Advertiser were impressed - it's their front page story.

How impressive was Monroe's late-game performance? Impressive enough to warrant a sidebar from Lafayette.

O. Perry Walker wasn't left out of the mix. After leading by 11 at halftime, and stretching the lead in the third quarter, the Chargers let Salmen cut into their lead until it was 40-36. That's when the game changed, Grant Alexander said.

And Eddie Ludwig nearly single-handedly defeated No.2 seed Arcadia with his 33 points and 12 rebounds. He'll get one more shot as a junior to thrill the fans after Country Day beat the Hornets 80-58.
