Minor hiccup accompanies 4A baseball seedings
For some odd reason, the LHSAA doesn't release the playoff seedings for every division/classification of baseball at the same time.
I don't know the reasoning, but if it's because it supposedly makes it easier to keep mistakes from happening, well, they need to work on that. Continued...
The association released its 4A baseball seeding recently, and despite the LHSAA working on only 3A and 4A that day, there was a mix-up. It seems although the coaches voted on the seeds, the LHSAA somehow put wrong teams in wrong spots on the bracket.
Some coaches weren't happy, but were fine once the situation was corrected..
But one columnist believes the hiccup is ridiculous and uncalled for.

And in other news, Vandebilt Catholic continues to own the LHSAA's 4A classification. The team made the 4A football quarterfinals, the boys and girls soccer teams both made the finals (the girls won) and now the girls tennis team is dominating.
