Spring football practice dates and game (updated)
According to LHSAA rules, spring practice for football may start on April 21 and run 15 days, including a spring game. But those 15 days can come any time before August, as I understand it.
Not every school begins on the first day, however. Many wait until baseball and/or track and field finish so they can have their full roster available.
And not all have spring games. Most do.
In case you were aching for some football, here's a list of New Orleans area schools, their start dates and when and who they play for a spring game.
