Hollywood comes to John Ehret

Ehret won the boys basketball title in 2006, nearly six months after Katrina, and the fine folks who write movies for a living decided to tell the world the story about that Patriots' basketball team.

Forest Whitaker is playing head coach Al Collins and the movie is called The Patriots.

"It's going to be something really good for our school," Ehret AD Billy North said.

Students and teachers are being used a extras and the Nicole Strohmeyer, an art teacher, is helping out with the movie studio.

The film isn't all being shot at Ehret, as the studio is looking for smaller gyms.

But still, does your school have a movie with a big-name actor starring in it?

Mine sure doesn't.
