Week 8 Power Ratings: Destrehan overtakes No. 1...finally

And the reemergence of Helen Cox is complete. After beginning the season in an average position, the Cougars fell to 38th in the power ratings thanks to a loss to Hahnville.

Helen Cox is up to No. 10, moving up one spot from last week, two spots from two weeks ago, 12 spots from the Sept. 29 poll and 28 places from Sept. 24.

Don't look now, but Pearl River - at 7-0 - is the top rated Southeast Louisiana 4A team.
