5A baseball playoff brackets posted
Here's one I don't get: Jesuit qualified, according to the LHSAA Web site this morning, as the District 10 champion. But Brother Martin is a better seed.
It all comes down to power points, which when you're playing a one-and-done playoff format, kind of stinks. A team that has one good pitcher can cruise through the playoffs.
In Alabama, every round is best-of-3. That's the way it should be. The best team moves on in that case.
