Friday Night Flights kicks off with great games

Wow, lots of great games Friday night. The KGW "Friday Night Flights" helicopter was at Southridge to deliver the game ball for a big rematch against Lake Oswego.

The Lakers got revenge for a pair of 2006 defeats with a hard-fought 21-17 win over Southridge.

Two-time defending state champ Jesuit ran it up with ease over Central Catholic, 60-0. That's their second straight blowout shutout, after opening with a big win over Mountain View.

Tigard toughed it out for a big win over Lincoln, despite losing HSGameTime.com's Week 1 "Player of the Week", running back Scott Grady, in the second quarter. The home Tigers beat the Cardinals 32-21.

Grant looks strong this year after an impressive 27-20 win over Beaverton. And how about Oreogn Cty's 56-0 win over Benson, wow.
