Friday night football action

League games won't start for another week, but Friday saw a flurry of exciting non-league prep football action as schools got to check out their teams for 2007.

Jesuit picked up right where they left off. The two-time defending state champs cruised past Mountain View 56-7, powered by four TD runs by Raphiel Lambert.

Beaverton topped Tualatin 17-14, rallying on a fourth-quarter TD run by Michael DeHaan.

And Lake Oswego rallied from a 21-0 deficit to beat West Salem 29-28, thanks to Lakeridge transfer Zack Young, who scored all four of LO's touchdowns.
