Week Seven Preview

Wilson @ Grant
First place is on the line in the P.I.L., as Grant (5-1) hosts Wilson (4-2) in a game at Lincoln High School.
Both teams a 2-0 in league play. If Wilson can pull of the upset, they should have no problme winning out, and entering the playoffs as the number one seed. Grant's road is a little tougher, as they still have Lincoln on the schedule.
The Generals have bounced back nicely after losing to Canby three weeks ago, blowing out both Franklin and Roosevelt.
Wilson has also won two straight, including a 34-28 shootout over Lincoln.
The Trojans are having a nice year, but quarterback Andre Broadous and the Generals should prove to be too much for them to handle this week.
Prediction: Grant 40 Wilson 28

Canby @ Tualatin
Two teams near the top of the Pacific League battle for playoff position Friday. Both the Cougars (5-2) and the Timberwolves (4-2) are locks to get in, but the higher the seed, the better.
The two teams have one thing in common, they both lost to Beaverton, although Tualatin put up a better fight.
Canby will have their hands full on the road, but the Cougars should pull it out a close one.
Prediction: Canby 31 Tualatin 28

Clackamas @ Lake Oswego
Don't think for a second that Lakers coach Steve Coury is looking past the Cavaliers. Most upsets come when you're least expecting them. Clackamas (5-2) is just the type of team that can sneak up on you, and snatch a win.
But Lake Oswego (7-0) is just way to good to let that happen. Zack Young is one of the quickest backs in recent Three Rivers history, and is always good for at least three touchdowns.
Prediction: Lake Oswego 35 Clackamas 21
