Gresham @ Lake Oswego
Lake Oswego begins their playoff push Friday against Gresham. The state's number one team does not get a first round bye, due to predetermined seedings before the season.
Gresham made the playoffs as the fifth seed in the Mount Hood Conference, despite having a losing record.
Lake Oswego should have no problem with the Gophers, but the real test will come next week, with a likely rematch against Jesuit.

Canby @ Jesuit
The Crusaders will defend their state title starting Friday with a home game against Canby. Early in the season, Jesuit looked like they'd be able to skate through the regular season blindfolded. They outscored their opponents 114 to 7 in the first two games. But the Crusaders were stunned by Lake Oswego in week three, and then lost again last Friday to Southridge, proving this year's Jesuit team can be had.
Canby is the three seed out of the Pacific Division, despite finishing with an 8-2 record. The Cougars were the odd man out in a three way tie with Tigard and Tualatin.
Jesuit will have their habds full, but should pull out a win at home.

Central Catholic @ Southridge
This could be Friday's most competitive game, featuring a pair teams that may be on the second tier, but fully capable of pulling off an upset.
The Skyhawks did just that last week, shocking Jesuit in the final week of the season. Southridge doesn't get much of a break this week, facing an explosive Central Catholic team with a pair of top notch athletes.
Quarterback Nick Green and receiver Jordan Freelander make up one of the best one two punches in the state.
