WHAT HAPPENED: The Broncos shut out the Chieftains until the final quarter. The two quarterbacks, Steve Hauser of Burrillville and Pat Fogarty of Ponaganset, received the two $1,000 Bradley LaFontaine scholarships that are awarded every year to each team.
STARS OF THE GAME: Brett Hereth caught five passes for 95 yards and a touchdown, and also had an interception for Burrillville. He was named Most Valuable Player of the game. Tommy Smith ran for two Burrillville scores.
