Thanksgiving Day football game between East Providence-La Salle to air live on Cox Sports Television
Don't despair if you can't make it to the East Providence-La Salle football game Thanksgiving morning at Pierce Field. Cox Sports Teleivision plans to air live coverage of the game, beginning with a pre-game show at 9:30 a.m., as well as a rebroadcast at 7 p.m.

Cox Sports Television (Cox channel 3) will provide live coverage of the Thanksgiving Day football game between East Providence versus La Salle, Thursday, November 23, 10 a.m. The game will be broadcast live from East Providence’s Pierce Field. The Score's Scott Cordischi will handle play-by-play and Steve Holland will handle color duties.
In addition to bragging rights, the East Providence vs. La Salle tilt is a showdown for the top-seed in the Rhode Island Interscholastic League Division I playoffs. Unbeaten La Salle enters the game with a 7-0 record. EP comes in at 6-1. The Townies only loss of the season was to Barrington on November 10.

I know many of high school football fans will be thrilled have the chance to watch the game on Cox Sports Television.”

Live coverage begins on Cox Sports Television with a pre-game show at 9:30 a.m. The Score’s Jim Brinson and Scott Zolak will serve as pre-game show hosts. They will be joined by veteran Providence Journal high school sports writer John Gillooly.
The half-hour program will feature a preview of the game, including interviews with coaches and players from both teams. The show will also highlight notable alumni from both schools, including U.S. Senator Jack Reed (D-RI), a graduate of La Salle. The Good Faith Dinner, in which both La Salle and East Providence players attend prior to the game, will be highlighted.
The East Providence vs. La Salle game will be rebroadcast on CST on Thanksgiving at 7 p.m. The game will also be available on Cox Local OnDemand. CST's complete schedule can be found at www.cox-sports.com.
