Townies win Division I title
East Providence's defense dominated in the second half as the Townies busted open a close game to win the Division I Super Bowl, 35-13, over Bishop Hendricken.
The Townies led by just 14-13 at halftime, but Hendricken could get nothing going in the second half. Defensive tackle Cameron Ford was named Most Valuable Player, and five different East Providence players scored touchdowns.
The win for East Providence avenged the team's only defeat of the season, an early loss to the Hawks.

these scores were posted four hours after the end of the game, and this is the only information you have on the game. I'm a Townie Alumni who resides out of the state and would have appreciated more details on this game. I guess I will have to wait until tomorrow, and hopefully the projo staff will write a few more paragraphs about the game.

What is the average GPA of the Townies??? I bet the Hawks blow them away in the classrooms. That is what will really matter in 20 years when the Hawks are all executives and the Townies are "hanging out" at he Lincoln in the square or the AC--talking "Glory Days" after getting off work from the city trucks.
