Avengers' Ahrens signs letter of intent with Franklin Pierce

Earlier this month, Tori Ahrens, a three-time All-State basketball player at East Greenwich, signed a national letter of intent with Franklin Pierce College in N.H., where the 6-foot center has received a full athletic scholarship.

Ahrens adds that she will be playing with fellow AAU teammate, first-team All-Stater and McDonalds All-American nominee Cynthia Gaudet of La Salle, who has received a partial scholarship at Franklin Pierce.
