Barrington wins state golf title
Tyler Fay and Matt Osman shot 74 and 75, respectively, in helping Barrington regain the Rhode Island Interscholastic League team golf championship today at Cranston Country Club. Barrington has won five of the last six state titles; last year's champion, Tiverton, finished eighth this year.

Today served as the first round of the state individual championships. A Barrington player who was not selected as one of the five players to vie for the team title, Jacob DiMario, leads the field going into the second day after a one-over par 72.
