Barrington's DiMario takes medalist honors in Individual State Golf Championship

“I went out there trying to swing really easy on every shot, just hit fairways and hit greens, and that’s what I did,” said the sophomore, who took the lead in the race for the individual crown after firing a 1-over-par 72. “I bogeyed the first hole and then a couple holes later, putts started falling, and that’s just what did it. I just swung solid all day.”
