Lincoln boys track captures first ever Class C crown
To the best of longtime coach John Menna's recollection, the Lincoln boys track team's Class C Championship this weekend represents the Lions' first outdoor class title in the history of their program.
Some highlights from that victory:
Aaron Sabatino was a triple winner, as he captured the long jump with a leap of 20' 11'', the 20-meter dash in 22.1 seconds and was part of Lincoln's first-place 4x100m relay team that broke the Lincoln High School record with a time of 44.9.
Sam Carlson won his first varsity race and became a class champion in the process when he clocked a winning time of 52.6 in the 400 meters.
