Freshman leadoff hitter and second baseman Logan Landroche hit an RBI triple, scored three times and stole a base in leading West Warwick to the Division II Jayvee Fast-pitch Championship with an 8-3 victory over Johnston in the title game, played last Friday at Mazzulla Field.

The Panthers got one run back in the bottom half of the inning when Jessica Carroll reached on a walk and went on to score. But West Warwick righthander Kayla Kiers kept Johnston from getting any closer, tossing a four-hitter and striking out 13.
