Junior pitcher Marian Long pitched a two-hitter and also scored the winning run, as Bay View defeated Lincoln, 1-0, in today’s Division I final of the Amica Insurance R.I. Interscholastic League Division I Fast-pitch Softball Championships at Rhode Island College.

Because it was Lincoln’s first loss of the double-elimination tourney, the teams will meet again in a deciding game, tomorrow at 6 p.m. at RIC. That matchup will follow the Division II Championship between Barrington and Moses Brown, which has been moved up two hours tomorrow to 4 p.m.
