Classical High junior Mickey Jusme on Saturday broke the Rhode Island state record in the girls’ triple jump at the New England Championships in Fitchburg, Mass. Jusme finished third with a distance of 37 feet (11.27 meters). That bettered the old state mark of 36-7.50 (11.16) set in 2001 by Classical’s Tolu Fayanjuola.
