Bishop Hendricken made history by becoming the first team in Interscholastic League history to win four consecutive Division I boys volleyball state championships by sweeping East Providence, 25-16, 25-21, and 27-25, at Rhode Island College.
Hendricken hitters David Rufful, Brendan O’Brien, Andrew Simmons, and Mike Delsignore dominated the net.
James Boyce, Hidao Garcia, Sterling Saint, and Sean Rahill were East Providence’s top players.
