Flowers breaks own record, sets new national standard

Bob Gourley reports on yet another record set by Classical senior Victoria Flowersearlier this week:

Victoria Flowers (SR/Classical High School, Providence, RI) set a new national high school 20# weight throw record of 62’02.00” at the New England Invitational Weight Throw meet indoors at Central High School, Providence, RI on Monday, March 3, 2008.

Series: LSF 62’02.00” RSF 56’02.25” 56’05.00” LSF

This broke her national record of 61’00.75” set at 26th Annual Brown University Track & Field High School Invitational on Friday, December 28, 2007 indoors at Brown University’s Olney-Margolies Athletic Center in Providence, R.I.
