Against the odds

Some people have a hard time imagining ever throwing on pads, cleats, and heading onto the field to run through eleven people who want to tear your head off. Now imagine running full bore during special teams and attemping to take out the kick returner--but you can't hear. For the last three years, that's what Bothell High School's Thomas Guidon deals with. The Seattle Times today has a profile piece on Guidon, and how much the guy has overcome. His success goes way beyond the playing field. The article is worth a read. We should all accomplish so much.
