Another Kennedy Title/Is Hale ready to play with the big boys?

The two biggest games this week are both in the greater Seattle area as Thursday night Kennedy of Burien beat #8 Renton 35-29 in a game that wasn't as close as the final score indicated. The Lancers clinched at least a share of yet another league title with the win as they took a 35-13 lead in the 3rd quarter thanks to a Derick Lewis 42 yard interception return. Justin Gunn led Renton to two 4th quarter TD's but it wasn't enough.

Tonight's big game is at Seattle's Memorial Stadium as Nathan Hale gets a chance to show whether they are really an elite team capable of making noise in the playoffs as they take on undefeated 4th ranked O'Dea. The Irish are led by Senior running back Johri Fogerson who has rushed for a 3a leading 1,456 yards and has scored 20 td's.
