Parents to decide penalty

Remember the Garfield High players arrested on suspicion of burglary earlier this season? (Four of the five students were starters) The Seattle Times is reporting that the parents are going to have the final say, on whether three of the teens are allowed to continue playing on the team. The school said it will not assess any penalty because the crime did not happen on school grounds. The players returned to the team Sept 28, in a game against Eastlake High. To read more about the decision, and specifics of the alleged crimes, read the entire Times' article.
